COLUMBIA, Md., Jan 05, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Sourcefire, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIRE), the creator of Snort® and a leader in intelligent cybersecurity solutions, today announced the acquisition of Immunet, a leading provider of advanced cloud-based anti-malware technologies. The acquisition expands Sourcefire's security solutions portfolio - adding an advanced cloud platform for delivery of malware protection - and extending the company's real-time detection and prevention leadership to the cloud.

Sourcefire will retain all Immunet personnel, including founders Oliver Friedrichs, Alfred Huger and Adam O'Donnell.

"Sourcefire is the perfect company to accelerate Immunet's path to market," said Oliver Friedrichs, Immunet Founder and CEO. Well as Orlando said, We have some other duties to work out first and the forum seems to be fine.
Orlando is a part of the Immunet team and he will tell/guide/help you as much as you want. He can always contact one of us others if he is in doubt :)

Thanks for the reply. I guess my point is there is no news or update on the new beta. What's going on with it? When can we expect a release of the final version?

I hope it doesn't affect the subscription fees for renewals such as an increase!
