  1. Thanks for the feedback Davey! No need for me to test it out now.
  2. Have any of the people who have had this problem tested v3.0.5.7980? I don't have time to do this at the moment (no time to fix the problems if they occur), but I'll give this version a go when I get some free time
  3. Check out the following threads for similar problems that other people have had: - http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/1259-agentexe-causing-system-instability/ - http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/1164-immunet-302-very-high-cpu-ram-usege/ - http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/958-agentexe-constantly-writing-to-disk-after-scheduled-scan/ Unfortunately, I don't think that there are any solutions, and based on your report it looks like these problems still haven't been fixed.
  4. I really don't care how Immunet solve the problem. My comments were just a response to the "we can't see any problems, therefore we can't fix it" type comments that I've seen here. If Immunet can't see what the problem is using their current tools then they need to find a different way of identifying it, and I believe that my suggested approach would allow them to do this. But if there are other better ways, that is fine by me.
  5. I think that people are interested and having the problem Davey, as you can see from the posts in Issues/Defects forum, it's just that with Immunet not seeming to care, there's not a lot that we can do. Thanks for posting that the problem is still there! Saves me the bother of testing it!
  6. I really don't see what the big problem is in tracking down this problem. For me, it started with v3.0.1.6056. The version prior to that worked without problems. Immunet should know what changes they put into v3.0.1.6056, so why not just step through those changes and see when things go wrong. If I knew that Immunet were serious about solving the problem (and that they would provide a very good uninstaller that puts everything back the way it was) I'd be prepared to test the step by step versions. Hopefully others would be prepared to do the same. That seems to be the only way that we'll get to the bottom of this.
  7. Based on my experience there isn't much that can be done about this. Have you sent the results of the System Diagnostic Tool? Note that when I used this it saved the output file to my administrator account's desktop so until I logged on as administrator it wasn't clear that anything had happened. Hopefully if enough people report this problem Immunet will be able to figure out what is going on.
  8. If you follow @safety they regularly send out messages about scams like this.
  9. I think that I was the first to report the problems with the disk hashing and I am running Windows 7 64 bit. So it doesn't look like it is a 32 bit/64 bit issue. I haven't bothered trying Immunet since I had the problems with v3.0.1.6056, though I do check back here occasionally to see if there has been any progress. So thanks for reporting that there are still problems.
  10. Does anyone know what sort of database this is? If it's an SQLite database then you could use the tools on http://sqlite.org/ to delete the bits that you don't want. If you just want to look at the database, Spybot have a handy tool at http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=21
  11. You only need to go back to the version before v3.0.1.6056 to test this. It was when I updated to v3.0.1.6056 that the problems started. Have any of the people with this problem tried the v3.02 beta yet?
  12. Has the removal tool been tested on Immunet 3 yet? Is it suitable?
  13. Just for the record, I haven't reinstalled Immunet yet so can't confirm that setting the blocking mode to "on" solves this problem. Looks like I should hold off reinstalling Immunet for a while yet. Thanks for posting sbs!
  14. That feed doesn't seem to be up to date. It only has one item in it for Immunet 3.0. Could you please check that it is working properly.
  15. Are you saying that this will fix the problem? Why won't the duplicate file handles in memory also cause problems?
