  1. Immunet is made for consumers and assumes that you have cloud connectivity. Cisco's Advanced Malware Protection is what enterprises use and there are special considerations for restricted environments like having their own Private Cloud and distributing definitions from that cloud: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/security/advanced-malware-protection/index.html
  2. I'm not sure I understand. Clamd runs on Linux and OSX only, doesn't it? Immunet runs on Windows and we use ClamAV as another engine in the drivers that monitor the file I/O. Those drivers are with pickup the activity and then sent to the cloud and clam engines.
  3. The forum changes have been done. Notice the new Support tab at the top of the forum? Now we're going to redirect support to here.
  4. In the next few days, the forum is going to get some changes as we attempt to consolidate the support portal into the forum. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  5. Everything should be fixed now, please ping us if you find something that's not working. Also, if you can't remember your login name (it's usually the first part before the @ in your email address), do a password reset and it'll list it there.
  6. There are a few peculiarities Travis and Nick are working through: * The header that used to have links for support * PM * Clicking on peoples names and it throwing up an error: Fatal error: Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format major ID 2, whereas the Loader expects 4 in/home/immunetc/public_html/admin/applications/members/extensions/profileTabs/aboutme.conf.php on line 730
  7. Upgrade is complete. I need fix the skin. Probably the most annoying thing that happened during the upgrade is my login name changed. For example, I used to login as millard@immunet.com. Now I have to login as millard with my same password.
  8. Tonight our service provider will be upgrading the forum version of the software and put us on a new server. Hopefully this will stop the outages, so we can provide better service. Unfortunately this will cause a 30 minute outage while DNS propagates.
  9. submit@samples.immunet.com is really only for files we think are malicious, but we do find FPs in there. Sending to support@sourcefire.com it's easier for us to validate.
  10. If you go to http://www.immunet.com/contact/index.html, the drop down allows you to "Submit a false positive" or you just email support@sourcefire.com. These all have to be handled by hand.
  11. Chiron, I'm sorry for not posting this yesterday. The admin looked at the mailspool, figured out what was wrong, and restarted it. You should now be able to send through submit@samples.immunet.com. --Millard
  12. Chiron, Once upon a time these were two different groups processing malware, but now it's all being processed by one. I've got some emails to the administrator asking what's going on with submit@samples.immunet.com. I'd suggest using the ClamAV link: http://www.clamav.net/lang/en/sendvirus/submit-malware/ as you'll get better notification of when the Clam databases are updated. --Millard
  13. Two suggestions: 1) Try 3.0.6: http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/1840-immunet-306-beta-available/ 2) Send the last 3 files from your quarantine directory to Keith as well
  14. The link just leads you to the "No Ui Showing" link which contains information about the funny character in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones]. Since you've already done that, it's got to be another Internet Explorer thing. A few questions: * What version of Internet Explorer are you running? * What version of Windows are you running? * What version of iptray.exe are you running? (Go to %PROGRAMFILES%\ImmunetProtect\version\iptray.exe and right-click on it and look at properties) and a few suggestions: Open Internet Explorer and try: * On the General tab, try deleting your browser cache, click on the try and select Hide, and then re-launch through the start menu or desktop shortcut * If that doesn't work, try going to the Advanced tab and Reset all of your Internet Explorer settings Also, could you attach a screenshot.
  15. Take a look at: http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/578-no-ui-showing/page__p__3282#entry3282
