  1. ClamAV are open source so any modification you may like to add is entirely up to you. So short answer yes, but it is currently not a part of the suite.
  2. It was removed because it served no real purpose. It was more misleading than useful Best regards Pedersen
  3. Hello psommer. Try to use Hitman Pro kickstarter to get rid of that infection. Immunet is mostly build to prevent such infections to happen so I recommend you to use it always. Best regards Pedersen
  4. ClamAV is an old piece of code that got too clustered/outdated to be used for business. Our current Immunet build is unique and top of the notch within its field. Making it open-source would be just like if symantec made their open-source.
  5. Hello ROCKNROLLKID. Immunet is unfortunately not open-source. ClamAV which is designed by us is. The sourceforge page is not controlled or registered by any Immunet members and therefor not valid. The page is made by a: Antonio Milani, which I have never heard of before but if you check his account, you will notice that he have added several different applications. Thanks for making us aware ! I am sorry to say but I hope you will stay anyway best regards Pedersen
  6. Hello D2004L, have you seen and tried this? http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/2327-my-immunet-agent-is-offline-what-do-i-do/
  7. Hello Silva. I can see by the name of the path that it lies in a folder named Trusteer. If you have Trusteer Rapport installed on your computer then this is a false positive and i recommend you to submit it as so
  8. Hello Zurchiboy. Ondemand tests are mostly misleading as they are not projecting real world enviroments. But then again, it is impossible to probably test antivirus software in real world enviroments therefor ondemand/realtime tests might be the most reliably tests around. Just be critic, most vendors pay for "fine" results at AV testing companies.
  9. Update: Users permission to write on other members or on their own wall have been disabled. It is still possible to read messages posted on your profile. Admins, moderators and Immunet insiders are still able to post messages on the walls. If you experience any issues regarding this, plz PM me. Best regards Pedersen
  10. Hello Zurchiboy. There are a couple of different ranks based on the number of posts the user have made but there isnt any different between those ranks. They are all based on the same member group. Best regard Pedersen
  11. Thx Ritchie and happy holiday to all Immunet supporters!
  12. Hey, I have heard about Hijack Hunter and it is legit, just a copycat of Hijackthis from Trend Micro....
  13. Hello Chris. I dont quite understand what you want help with. Can you specify a bit more? Best regards Pedersen
  14. We have had a few problems with users that have made an account but didnt receive any email to validate their account. If this happens to you, please check your spam folder first and then email me at: pedersen@immunet.com Remember to include the email used to make your forum user so I can look you up. Thanks in advance! Best regards Pedersen
  15. Hello all. The easiest way to submit files to us is email. You can mail samples to: submit@samples.immunet.com This will feed your samples to an automated system and if we can build protections for it they will available over the cloud within a day of your submission and in some cases as soon as 2 hours. If you prefer a webform then you can use the form on our site: http://www.immunet.com/contact/index.html You can also use our forum for submission but to guaranty the fastest malware handling we encourage users to use one of the two first options. Best regards Pedersen
  16. Hello Ryuusei. Yes you can use submit@samples.immunet.com for future mail submissions.
  17. Hello all Immunet users and guests. I have been watching the amount of registration doing the last 2 days and the count was about 60 registration. What a great support! But even though we love the amount of new users, we can see a negative amount of not validated accounts. Out of the 60 new users only about 10 validated their accounts which leaves 50 none validated accounts! If the account is not validated then it cannot be used to post/comments on the forum. I write this notice in hope of remembering new users to validate their accounts by pressing the link provided in the mail sent to you upon registration by Immunet forum. None validated users will automatically be deleted after 60 days in the future as we believe that it is not likely that it ever will be validated that long after registration. If you have any question then feel free to mail me at: pedersen@immunet.com If the forum fail to send the mail somehow please check you spam folder first and then mail me. Good luck and thanks for your support! Best regards Pedersen
  18. We would very much like if we could get some response. The sooner we can get some response the sooner we can implement the option and it is all for you! Best regards Pedersen
  19. Hello Stampingran. I figured that you meant Vipre AV from sunbelt when you say viper? Yes, Immunet will conflict with Vipre and I will not recommend you to run those 2 side by side. You can check which softwares that are known not to work with Immunet at: http://support.immunet.com/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=20 Best regards. Pedersen
  20. A lot of users have a third part firewall running which is a great idea but sometime some problems between the firewall and Immunet happens. Most software based firewalls will automatically ask if you want to allow Immunet passing through but a few dont. The few software based firewalls and most hardware based firewalls who dont allow Immunet to run probably need to be configured to allow Immunet to communicate with the cloud. To allow connection to the internet you need to allow or open a few ports that are being used by Immunet. The port number used for cloud communication are: 80 - TCP (HTTP) 443 - TCP (HTTPS) 32137 - TCP. 53 - UDP is needed for DNS lookup. So keep those ports open for Immunet in software and hardware based firewalls. (Hardware based firewalls are often built-in in routers and modems).
  21. Hello iTrendsNET. We do not have a feature to renew Immunet licenses currently so the best option to continue your Immunet Pro version would be to buy a new license. The new license will be activated on the day you use it first time so dont worry about buying it the last day. You can save it to your current license expires. Thanks for your financial support. Best regards Pedersen
  22. I am glad to see you have fixed the problem. I apologize for the behavior of our phone support and we are currently working on our support features. But thanks Brian and good luck out there! Best regards Pedersen
  23. Hello bvamunds. I know that the phone support can be a pain in the *** sometimes. If you can describe the problem here I might be able to help you? Regarding the number I would say that you can use both but can only guaranty that 1-877-678-2096 will be able to help you out.
  24. Hello Lamour. You can easily use Immunet free while you are on vacation. Just make sure to update definitions used by ClamAV engine before you go on travel. This will bring about the same offline protection to your computer as ClamWin.
  25. Thanks for you response Innerspaceboy. I must agree that is sounds very slow. It is an average speed of 2.2mb/s and yet the slowest I ever have heard of. Are you using the free or paid version of Immunet? Regarding the false positive I wont believe you are gonna encounter those on ClamAV. The false positives are found by our heuristic engine (zero-day detection) so they are not present in our signature. Besides that they are sorted out pretty quickly. Regarding popups you should NOT expect those often. When Immunet have scanned your system once then most FP have been found and corrected and in the future you should maximum encounter 4 FP a year depending on how much you download/install. Otherwise only viruses will be detected
