  1. Immunet is a free product, and with it being free- having it 'tested' against other products is costly.

Though, Immunet does also use the ClamAV engine, so we detect everything ClamAV detects, plus have our own set for detection.
On top of that, If anyone notices any false positives or anything of the sort- report it and we will be as quick as possible to fix.

Other products that are not 'free' are externally tested and ranked.

My wife has just complained to me that her machine keeps slowing down due to immunet hammering the CPU, its a simple A10 with 8Gig RAM, an SSD, mostly used for office apps.

I'm using immunet on my rig too. Currently I've not got a problem on my machine which is a similarly beefed up gaming PC much like erasedisknow. I have experienced the slow down issues in past versions of immunet.

    Both using 6.2.4.10819

is immunet on the SSD on both machines or just one?

  3. Ritchie is correct. We know about the Windows 10 High CPU and are looking into the issue to find a fix. Right now, it looks like Windows 10 is the ONLY operating system being affected from what I can tell. Though, if you have high CPU on the latest version on another OS, let me know ASAP.

  4. I am sorry that the progress of Immunet is not to your liking. I understand FP's are super annoying and I apologize, as well as pass it along to that team to see how can we do better to prevent things like this.

The CPU hogging issue, should be fixed in the latest version, though some other users reported specifically windows 10 pro issues with that still which we are investigating.
Do you have debugging enabled? If so, that's probably why the log files are filling up so quickly.

What would you like to see in the future of Immunet?

It would be nice if the Immunet.com website was https. Many other Antivirus websites are. The forums are so I guess it shouldn't be too hard to do.

Also, the http://www.immunet.com/faq is out of date. It shows about the Ask toolbar and Plus version which are not part of Immunet anymore.

Thanks, I will work on getting the information updated.

If that's the case then I have more questions than answers. Why did NoScript not advise me of the presence of tagmanager before the https change? That's strange. Either way, that non-essential script (in my opinion) will remain blocked on this computer.

Google Tag Manager is a tag management system created by Google to manage JavaScript and HTML tags used for tracking and analytics on websites

    Thanks again.

I use my mobile as a portable Wi Fi hotspot for the laptop . Yes I had no internet so googled the problem later.

i wouldn't assume this to cause an issue, but I can look into it.
    What version of Windows?

When testing with the latest version of Immunet, I am not having a problem. Maybe something else could be blocking? Or not a solid enough connection

    Thanks for your interest/help.

I don't know what DHCP is. Yes Googled from same laptop. Can't screenshot as Immunet not installed at the moment. Error showed when I clicked Wi Fi & it showed connected but no Internet.

I then clicked on "Settings" & error came up. I am on Windows 10. That phone Wi Fi hotspot has been working fine for over 3 years. Cheers Norm

Are you using the internet from your phone to connect to the internet with the laptop?

I assume you couldn't google when immunet was installed but you did afterwards?
