Yes, I agree. In my opinion, the GUI update is well, well overdue by now. It has been many years since the last GUI change. It would be nice having possibly more settings too.

Yes, we are working on refreshing the UI in the future. Hopefully sooner, than later. We have been getting a lot of reports on people not liking the UI.

Thanks for your quick reply - scan history holding ATM

Let me know if that changes. Right now, on win 10 pro (on my box)- I scanned, and scan history is intact thus far...but it's only been about 6 hours. So, I will see if it holds longer or not

Yes, I just wanted to hear it! I tested Immunet on many sites, programs and viruses of all types, it shows amazing results! The Thread Grid finds what other antivirus programs do not see. I fell in love with this product :), I hope you really solve the problem with the optional management of history and logs, as well as full-fledged Gaming Mode is desirable. Thanks for the product! Good luck ...

I will pass the notes along to the devs for future features to see what they can do ! Thank you for using our product

I understood everything .. The ClamAV antivirus itself is great! but immunet - I'm afraid I can not find the correct word .. I use ClamAV in Linux to check Windows files. You have closed the open code ClamAV - therefore, there is no confidence in the immunet .. none of the antivirus collects so much information.

You could use ClamAV for Windows, which is still opensourced.

I understand that you are offended ... but let's face it - it's not normal when customers complain to you for many years about how to manage logs .. so that users can set their size , clear logs or disable, this is normal practice, and if it is so important to collect logs about all actions, then why should they be stored on the client's computer? Download them yourself and collect them there .. but these will be different to you .. But, you can, for some reason, refuse to go to meet the client and make the product more user-friendly .. Yes, honestly, I like Immunet the most AMTSO tests - best results! but logs, this is his HUGE MINUS!

P.S. I apologize that I have never mentioned the reason for my complaint about the logs .. as I missed it .. but it is that when scrolling through the list of logs of clean files in the history, to the beginning (down), Immunet crashes, Windows 10 x64, latest updates.

I've not been with the project long enough to know of the complaints for years on logging. For me , I was not aware people cared about this until this thread.

I do think the product SHOULD be more user-friendly- I am working with the dev team to make that possible in the future.

  5. Immunet is a free product, and with it being free- having it 'tested' against other products is costly.

Though, Immunet does also use the ClamAV engine, so we detect everything ClamAV detects, plus have our own set for detection.
On top of that, If anyone notices any false positives or anything of the sort- report it and we will be as quick as possible to fix.

Other products that are not 'free' are externally tested and ranked.

My wife has just complained to me that her machine keeps slowing down due to immunet hammering the CPU, its a simple A10 with 8Gig RAM, an SSD, mostly used for office apps.

I'm using immunet on my rig too. Currently I've not got a problem on my machine which is a similarly beefed up gaming PC much like erasedisknow. I have experienced the slow down issues in past versions of immunet.

    Both using

is immunet on the SSD on both machines or just one?

  7. Ritchie is correct. We know about the Windows 10 High CPU and are looking into the issue to find a fix. Right now, it looks like Windows 10 is the ONLY operating system being affected from what I can tell. Though, if you have high CPU on the latest version on another OS, let me know ASAP.

  8. I am sorry that the progress of Immunet is not to your liking. I understand FP's are super annoying and I apologize, as well as pass it along to that team to see how can we do better to prevent things like this.

The CPU hogging issue, should be fixed in the latest version, though some other users reported specifically windows 10 pro issues with that still which we are investigating.
Do you have debugging enabled? If so, that's probably why the log files are filling up so quickly.

What would you like to see in the future of Immunet?
