Invitations

Recommended Posts

When I open "My Community" I have a list with "Invitations sent"

I have a little question ... how can I delete invitations where I'm not having any response to them ? can you make a right click from mouse to delete those that are in this situation ?

Bogdan,

At this point there is not deletion of Invitations Sent. It's on the to-do list, we just haven't gotten there yet. Also on the list is to resend an invitation in case someone thought it was spam and you want to resend. It should only show the last 4 invitations sent that are not accepted.

I agree. Some people just ain't going to respond :(

Hi Dan,

I have sent out many invitations, but few responses. One of the adressees thought my email address has been hijacked, because he did not recognise the way I expressed myself! So therefore, Immunet should send invitations in its own name but on behalf of me, not giving the impression, that I am the sender!!

In addition, invitations are sent only in English! Immunet must be multilingual!

Cheers,

Hi,

I have seen the contents of the Immunet invitation sent out, and I do not like the contents, at all! So, I understand, that friends are not responding!

Invitation should be a part only of a normal private email

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I intend to send out invitation to a friend of mine, I prefer to send it out as a part of a normal email sent from myself in a polite manner!

In the email to my friend I will start with personal things regarding him, his wife and kids, asking about their vacation etc.

followed by info about myself to him/his family!

In the second to last paragraph, it might be appropiate to insert the invitation itself:

"By the the way, I have found a good software called Immunet FREE........

(I prefer to formulate this invitation part with my own words, not dictated by Immunet!)

In the last paragraph I want to forward personal greetings, wishes for good luck, etc.

Cheers,

(My name)

One of the enhancements that is on the list is the ability for users to have URLs that would allow them to connect with them automatically. Users for this type of scenarios would be Blogs, Facebook, email, etc. This should meet your needs.

Hi: My preference would be to have the ability to see all of the invitations we've sent. ...(have you met my memory?)

It would be usefull to be able to delete them also... maybe they joined, maybe we want to write them off eternally for not joining.

Perhaps a time frame of _?days/months for which they stay listed, then disappear, would keep clutter down.

I think these would be nice improvements for the GUI, I'm always in favor of the maximum options/choices for the user, but I don't consider them to be an annoyance.

While we're on the subject. If we want to add a current IP user to our 'My Community' do we have to invite them from the GUI?

Would someone please send me an invitation so I can see what they look like and what happens.

Thanks
