The Federal Bureau of Investigation has issued a warning to computer users of emails purporting to show photos or video of bin Laden's death in all likelihood contain malware that will infect the user's PC with the possibility of stealing personal user information once infected. So if you get one of these unsolicited emails DO NOT open it or forward it to anyone else! Just delete it right away!

Hi Ritchie,

I saw somewhere the following heading: "Osama BinLaden's fake death photo goes viral". I thought, that at least .jpg photos were clean, because JPG, JEPEG, JPEG are often excluded from scanning by many Downloading & Antimalware products! Maybe other types of photos: gif, tiff, etc can be viral? OK, I will not open any photo, video or email about BinLaden anyway!

Cheers,

sweidre
