A few fellow forum users devised a way to manually update the ClamAV defs. Hope you find this info useful. ritchie58 456 Report post Posted February 1 What do you mean by you deleted ClamAV George? The ClamAV module is an integral part of Immunet's code & no attempt should be made to uninstall it. Did you mean you simply disabled the module in Settings? I hope so or you will need to do an uninstall & reinstall first. You can run Immunet without ClamAV & use just the ETHOS & SPERO cloud engines. In fact, it is advised if you use Immunet as a companion AV to another AV product that you do disable ClamAV for better system performance. I have Immunet running alongside Panda Dome Advanced with ClamAV disabled for instance. If Immunet is to be used as a 'stand-alone AV solution' then it is recommended that the ClamAV module remains enabled. Avast! & Immunet are indeed compatible. By default Avast! Exclusions are already in place with Immunet for that reason. Just don't forget to add an exclusion/exception/allow rule for Immunet's 'entire Program Files folder' with Avast!.
