Guest Mature
Hi, I just got Immunet 3.0.1.6112 installed, and mike-闵 reported that Scan Archive Files doesn't work at all with the switch "on",I did a little test about this and confirmed that no matter manually scan or download/copy/install auto detection, the zip file contains positive file doesn't get caught by Immunet. Hope you guys can fix this horrible bug. Mature
Rob.T
Hi Mature, I'll look into this. Could you please zip (i.e. double zip) the archive your testing with the password "infected" send it to support@immunet.com. Archive scanning was very thoroughly tested for 3.0.1 release (it was totally broken in 3.0.0 and was one of the bugs we address for 3.0.1), so I'm wondering if there is something special about the particular archive your scanning. Note you must have Clam or Tetra enabled to scan archives.
sweidre
Note you must have Clam or Tetra enabled to scan archives. Thanks RobT for this info! I have just now switched ClamAV ON! (Until now, I have always had ClamAV OFF using the Immunet Cloud only!!) But I think, that this info about ClamAV should be added when hovering over the ?-marks for : Scan Archive Files ON ? Scan Packed Files ON ? Just to make it 100% clear for everybody! Anyhow, this was news for me! Cheers, sweidre
