WacoJohn
This is a link, provided by FOXIT tech support, to download FOXIT READER: My link When I click on it, Immunet 3.0 Free with Clam AV instantly quarantines a file FoxitReader431_enu_Setup[1].exe from a Temporary Folder. I have to cancel the download, turn off Immunet 3.0 in settings and attempt the download again .. where the file FoxitReader431_enu_Setup.exe saves to my desktop (notice absence of [1]). I turn I30 back ON and do a custom scan of that file ... and it comes up clean. I cannot upload to Immunet the [1] file as an FP because as a TEMPORARY file, it gets deleted by the operating system. When I try to UNQUARANTINE it, I30 says it is not there.

Rob.T
Thanks John, this file has been whitelisted. It will take 24 hours for your local cache to clear, after which you should no longer FP on it.

ritchie58
Hello WacoJohn, I installed Foxit Reader a few months ago to replace Adobe's buggy product and had no difficulty with Immunet during the install. That is strange that the same FP didn't occur for me. Although I may have disabled Immunet's protection during the install. That is a possibility. Buy the way, .. due to being whitelisted .. it works great now ... if you want to grab the new version.

Hi WacoJohn, I downloaded & installed Foxit Reader 5.0.1.0523 on 27th of May without any problems! In addition, I have on the 20th May downloaded & installed PDF Creator - PDF monitor v.1.2.1 (freeware), but I have not got familiarized with its many features yet! I wonder, if Adobe Reader is too far behind to catch up securitywise!? I wonder, if there are any good replacements for Adobe Flash & Adobe Shockwave, as well!? Cheers, sweidre PS. I have just downloaded & installed Sumatra PDF v.1.6. A brief postive test made Sumatra as my default PDF Reader, for sure! DS.
