jholbrook
Purchased the Plus edition for 3 machines for 2 years. Installed on a new Windows 7 (Home Premium) 64 bit laptop. I'm having a problem where I'm getting the yellow exclamation mark with "Not Updated" If I run the updates I get this: Checking for definition updates Latest updates already installed Checking for definition updates Found new updates. Downloading ... Downloading definition file bytecode.cvd (100%) Unable to install updates I did see another posting where you stop the immunet service, copy the update.txt file over and restart the service but this did not fix my problem. Left a message with support. Let's see where I get a quicker reply. I'm running Immunet 3.0.2.6548 Thanks in advance.
Rob.T
Hi John, yeah that fix for copying update.txt does not apply to 3.0.2.6548. Can you check your settings and tell me if both "Enable ClamAV Engine" and "Allow (ClamAV) Definition Updates" are turned on? Next, can you please take a support snapshot for me? This can be done by clicking start -> All Programs -> Immunet 3.0 -> Support Diagnostics Tool. This will create a new file on your desktop with a name like Immunet_Support_Tool_[date and timestamp].7z. Please email this file to support@immunet.com with the subject "For RobT - forum thread 1137."

I get the same results except, I did not get the download part, but all were successful, but no change to the Exclamation point. I just ran the diagnostic tool as per instructions. Do I have a file I need to send, or does the tool send it automatically?
WacoJohn
Do I have a file I need to send, or does the tool send it automatically? The report file is generated and saved on your desktop. You have to EMAIL that file to the email address in Rob's reply. Designate it the same way but refer to YOUR reply.

Rob T was able to go into my computer and re-set it temporarily, but it came back in seven days. Everthing else seems to be functioning. I wish they could repair this bug. Right now nothing will work and a lot of time and effort had been made to try and fix it.
