Jorgen
Should not Immunet have a option for scanning out going e-mails, and then add an siganture with " this mail is scanned with Immunet ....". Like other e-mails I get from friends with other anti virus programs to show there contacts that they take anti-virus serious and spread the word of an superior product around? Jorgen I agree to this. Scans Outgoing/incoming emails and sets a Signature in the bottom of the email: "This has been scanned by Immunet Protect." markusg
why it is usefull to scan outgoing mails, for me such option is useless. immunet scans the files automatically and normaly also the mail... an antispam modul is perhaps usefull

AVG changes people outgoing mail to append a .sig onto them saying the mail has been 'scanned by AVG' and it's a very effective brand awareness tool for them. We do want to do it, but right now could only do it with the Plus version because Free does not examine PST, Mbox etc. formats yet, hoping to change that in the fall. A spam filter for outlook would be great in the future. Orlando

Jorgen I can tell you that Kasperky antivirus will announce you when your mail will be scanned. All what you may do is to acced http://www.trustdownload.com/Antivirus-and-Spyware-Cleaners/Antivirus/Kaspersky-Internet-Security-7.0.html
markusg
yer but such feature is useless, you need no extra modul for scanning, when you for exsample creating an attachment, immunet and all other scanners can find malware in this attachment so nobody needs such feature and no scanner can find 100 % malware, so kaspersky write, this mail is clean. this means not automatically this mail is realy clean, this means only kaspersky can nothing find. so the user open the mail and perhaps his scanner find also nothing, but the file /link what ever is infected. so such notes give te user an wrong filing off security. sweidre
Hi, In my mind both incoming and outgoing emails (including attachments!) should be scanned! The incoming and outgoing emails should be provided with a text, that this email itself and the attachments named si and so have been scanned and provided with a text a) "not infected", "maybe infected", c) or "infected". Infected emails or attachments should be placed in quarantine with a popup notice of course! If infected, the name of the infection (virus) should also be written! Cheers, sweidre

It's the presentation layer which needs work. al
markusg
i hope such comes not such an note not infected is not good perhaps you should use an other frase or something like this, like i say, not infected means not ealy the file is not infected, this shows only, immunet could not find an infection. but it could be malware

I have NOD32 AV putting notices at the bottom of outgoing and incoming emails. If also Immunet put notices on the emails are OK, provided that both AV softwares agree! It will be really confusing, if the two AV:s give contradicting messages! This may give bad reputations for one or both of them!
