The program doesn't modify source dbx data during recovering. It can show restored dbx and starts under all popular versions of Windows OS. We have tested the version of Outlook Express you are running and the file OEMIG50.exe does not show up as malicious for us. Give it a scan on your computer again and let us know how it goes.
