john8098
I have install Immunet on windows server 2008 standard without any error. I can see the clamd.exe*32 and agent.exe process under task manager. Does it mean Immunet 3.0 is ready to run on windows server environment? Hope can get the answer here. ( because i saw the post which is long time ago ( last year ) say there is error when install on windows server )
ritchie58
Conflicts have been reported using Immunet with a Windows server based environment. However Sourcefire is alpha/beta testing a Enterprise based AV solution of Immunet Protect that will function within such a structure. They are looking for beta testers if the limited quota for testers hasn't been met yet. Something you might be interested in perhaps. You can find more info about this in the "Announcements" section of the forum.
ritchie58
Hi john c, the newest build of Immunet (3.0.4.7241) now supports Windows Server 2003 and 2008 platforms. I would suggest you update to avoid any possible future conflicts. To get the newest version click here. Regards, Ritchie...
