Rob.T
Hi everyone, Immunet 3.0.4.7241 has been released and is available for download from http://download.immunet.com/push/immunet/ImmunetSetup.exe. This installer will work for new installs and upgrades from all prior versions, on both 32 and 64bit systems. This version is not yet available through the "Update Now" button in Immunet - you will need to manually download and install it from the link above if you wish to upgrade from an earlier version. If you are upgrading from 3.0.2 or newer your Immunet scan & quarantine history will be preserved, however if your upgrading from older versions your history data will be reset. If you're using XP, Vista or Windows 7 the changes for 3.0.4 are pretty minimal - a new digital certificate and fixes for some installation bugs. The big change for 3.0.4 is that we now officially support Windows Server 2k3 and 2k8!
ritchie58
Since Windows Server 2003 & 2008 are now supported that should allow more users into the Immunet fold and the more users, the better benefit to the Immunet community as a whole at detecting and stopping malware. Congratulations on this new build!
ng6x
Same problem! Still disk hashing after quick scan? Uninstalled..program totally unusable at least for me. Can't seem to get any interest in the problem and I don't understand why others are not having the problem. Win XP Pro. Uninstalled. Thanks. I think that people are interested and having the problem Davey, as you can see from the posts in Issues/Defects forum, it's just that with Immunet not seeming to care, there's not a lot that we can do. Thanks for posting that the problem is still there! Saves me the bother of testing it!

Thanks for posting that the problem is still there! Saves me the bother of testing it! Hi ataraxy, I was just waiting for your reply to Davey! I think, that the other users, who once suffered from the agent.exe problem have left this forum and Immunet for good. I know, that you Ataraxy think that issuing of new versions of Immunet is a waste of time. You want that Immunet will go back to a version before the beginning of April, because the agent.exe problem started before the beginning of the early April version. Immunet should go back to the version in March and analyze what went wrong in developent of the early April version. When the problem is sorted out, Immunet can then easily develop the product from there by adding changes done during the last 5 months. This agent.exe problem must be sorted out prior to issuing of the ENTERPRISE version. ENTERPRISES with many employees using Immunet will never accept this serious programming error without demanding heavy penalties! Employees of Immunet, you must take this seriously and not sweep this problem under the carpet! What is hidden in snow, will appear in thaw! Cheers, sweidre

My comments were just a response to the "we can't see any problems, therefore we can't fix it" type comments that I've seen here. If Immunet can't see what the problem is using their current tools then they need to find a different way of identifying it, and I believe that my suggested approach would allow them to do this. But if there are other better ways, that is fine by me.

Hi Davey, Ataraxy & Immunet Staff, By remote control Immunet staff can easily (if Ataraxy and/or Davey permits) study and investigate what is going on in the computers of these two Immunet (agent.exe) users . There are many ways to remotely control the computer of any user! (Team Viewer is a good freeware) Immunet staff should not longer stay blindfolded to this problem ! I think the translations hasn't been updated since the 3.0 Yes I sussed that out myself, maybe a warning would be nice, saying that 'attention this language version only installs xx version rather than the version 3 one, if using a non English version' Would have saved me a lot of time, Now I have a second problem I'm getting a yellow exclamation mark saying not updated and yet when I run the update It says I'm up to date, tried the beta fix tool to no avail, going to a do a complete unistall and try again, PS running 3.04.7241 version (full version as I have my key) Update : A total uninstall, deleting all files, and folders that were left behind and using Ccleaner and then reinstallings seems to have cleared up this problem Phew, what with this bug and the langaugae problem it took me several hours to get the program up and running correctly .... sweidre
Hi, Translations are up to date but we are waiting for a new version since 3 months... Hi Shaoran, All the translations are updated to 100% on the website https://translator.immunet.com (except German, that has 6 strings missing!), but the Immunet staff has no interest in other languages but English! So it seems, that all our translation works have been totally in vain! Cheers, sweidre

sweidre
I think they are busy with new product :| Hi thanhtai2009, In my mind, we should not have been asked to translate Immunet already during the autumn 2010. The new Enterprise version needs added/amended/deleted strings for translations. (By the way, I think many of the translators are not interested in the enterprise version at all, only the free & plus version.)
