sweidre
"Hacker gets 6-year sentence for 'sextortion' case" "UK arrests 2 suspected computer hackers" Hurrah! It seems, that criminal hackers finally get arrrested & sentenced, at least in the US & the UK. I hope, other countries (EU?) will follow suit. Kristygirl2011
Good! Let's get these guys. It's a bloody shame that people have to worry about someone ruining their computers. We have enough to worry about. ritchie58
This year has seen an "explosion" of hacker activity and the year isn't over yet! Yes, it is good to see that some of these people are being held accountable for a change. Hacker activity is nothing new though. It actually goes back to before home computers. When the first digital phone systems were introduced an individual created a device that could send certain tones through the system to acquire illegal free long distance phone service. It took a while before the phone companys became aware of the vulnerability to their systems.

sweidre
http://news.yahoo.co...-231906692.html Hi, according to the article above: "NBC is contacting authorities including the New York Police Department and FBI about the incident." I really hope, that NY Police Dep & FBI will investigate & give data to a procecuter! Two reasons: hacking & choice of date! (10 years after the worst terror attack ever!)
