HiltonT
I've looked on your site, including in your EULA, for Licensing information regarding Immunet Protece Free and there's nothing that I can find that explicitly allows nor disallows the use of Immunet Protect Free on corporate machines. Could someone please respond with an official position on this issue - either a link to a page I've overlooked, or a response from Alfred or one of the other developers. This information really should be in the EULA or somewhere easily searchable on the main site. The reason I'm asking is that I like Immunet Protect and for me to be able to get others to look at it, they need to know that, unlike AVG Free or Avast Free, it can be installed on corporate machines, which will let them then see the benefit of running Immunet Protect and the additional benefits Pro will provide them. Hi HiltonT, I am only an ordinary member of this forum. I know, that Immunet has now an Enterprise version in Beta stage. If you want to get in tough with Alfred you have three options: 1. PM (personal message) to Alfred. In the upper right corner you'll find a search box. By using the curtain menu, select "Members" instead of the default option "Forums". In the search field type one of these names: Al or Alfred. Then you will get to the profile page of Alfred. Being on his Profile page, select the option: "Send a message". Selecting this option you'll have a window to send a PM (personal message) to him (Alfred). When he has logged in to this forum, your PM will immediately popup on his screen. He can answer you on that PM, and you can easily continue this communication using this PM thread. 2. Sending an email to support@immunet.com . Write that this email shall be forwared to Alfred (unfortunately I do not know his private email address!). 3. Wait for an answer by Alfred on this forum thread. (I know, that Alfred is not attending to this forum so often as before due to heavy workload) Cheers, sweidre
ritchie58
Hi HiltonT, another gentleman inquired about the same subject a while back. He also was seeking advice about a silent install during a Group Policy roll-out. One of our forum administrators named RobT responded with information necessary to achieve this so one would have to assume that Immunet Protect Free is permissible in a corporate environment. Here is a link to that previous post that you may find informative. Best of luck, Ritchie...
Rob.T
Hi Hilton, we have no problems with people using the free version of Immunet in corporate environments. However, before you start installing Immunet you might want to check out Al's post about our Enterprise Beta here: http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?showtopic=1224.
