Windows 10 Display Issue

Recommended Posts

There is a serious issue with the display scaling of the Immunet UI with this update. I'm currently using Windows 10 with a 3840x2160 resolution and the loaded app shows a comparable Microsoft word font size of 6. Last month, the issue was temporary resolved but now it's back to the miniature scale. All my other applications don't have these issues. Why was the fix undone and can it be resolved?

Hi Billy9,

Usually when a user reports that the UI is displaying too small is because they're using a device with a 4k screen. This is a known issue with Immunet with no fix or workaround that I'm aware of.

I mentioned this to you the last time you posted in the General section of the forum last July 7th. Here's a link to that post you made. https://support.immunet.com/topic/13856-application-display-scaling-issue/

Is this the case with you, are you using a device with a 4k screen?  I could be wrong but with the screen resolution you're currently using I would venture to guess you do have a 4k screen.

Why the UI was temporarily displaying normally & then not is a mystery to me! Perhaps some display setting(s) that you used and then changed maybe? If that's so, I'd love to know what previous setting(s) you did use!

I'm not aware that some sort of UI scaling fix has been implemented for 4k screens with the newest 7.4.4.20633 build or the last build for that matter.

There also was no mention of that in the release data in the Announcements section.

For my Win 10 Pro x64 desktop PC using a 30" wide screen HDMI LCD computer monitor I use a screen resolution of only 1920 x 1080.

I could use a higher resolution than that with the HDMI compliant GPU & monitor being used but the desktop icons, tray icons & text are small enough for my taste at that setting & Immunet's UI displays normally when launched.

Regards, Ritchie...

Have you tried reaching out to the Immunet support team? They may have more information on why the issue is happening and if there is a permanent solution. Additionally, you could try checking the Windows 10 display settings to see if there are any adjustments you can make to resolve the issue. Sometimes, simple tweaks to the scaling or resolution settings can help resolve display issues. Hope that helps! If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to the community here and share any updates or solutions you find.

Hi Todd,

Unfortunately, as I mentioned in the last thread I posted to this topic, the developers have not been able to come up with an adequate solution to upscale Immunet's UI for users with 4k screen devices.

However, there is a free app that can upscale images that one could use as a sort of work-around to this issue. This software is a bit dated but it should still work with the Win 10 OS.

It's called IntegerScaler: https://tanalin.com/en/projects/integer-scaler/

Cheers, Ritchie...
