yongalex
Hello I just installed Immunet 3 on my notebook. My notebook seem like slow down a lot & lagging. Is it because of conflict between both cloud engine; immunet & OA ? I only run OA on firewall & Immunet clamAV off. Monitor start off.Blocking mode off. I have File exclusion on the combo as well. Thank you Yong
ritchie58
Hi yongalex, I used OnlineArmor Free Firewall and Immunet together before and ran into the same problem you're encountering now. Unfortunately we both learned the hard way that these two programs are incompatible. I use Comodo Internet Security now (Firewall & Defense+ only) and haven't looked back! If you try Comodo as your Firewall you'll notice a great improvement in system performance. Just allow agent.exe and iptray.exe internet access through the Firewall (Trusted Files). Problem solved with COMODO firewall. Actually, I still prefer OA but no choice. Thank you
ritchie58
Yeah yongalex, I know what you mean. I too liked Emsisoft's OA Firewall. Used it for several years! It used very little system resources compared to other 3rd party firewalls and you didn't need to be a rocket scientist to configure it. Comodo's Firewall has it's merits though. It performs outstandingly during independent leak tests. The default settings will protect you adequately but there are numerous tweaks one can do to increase the strength of security. Also the Defense+ module is another great added layer of protection by providing a H.I.P.S. like feature to the Firewall. The sandboxing feature is another plus.
