Hi,

During hidden or scheduled scan is should be nice, if the arrow in the system tray icon was slowly moving,

just to show that there is a background scan running for the moment!:D

(Popup-messages should be avoided, because they are only annoying!)

Cheers,

Hi again, just an additional questional comment!

What happens, if I reboot my computer during a running scan?

A moving system tray icon will then be a kind of warning not to reboot until the scan has finished!

Hi again,

I am just testing my improvement of different scheduled scanning, so therefore I am so scan-addicted now:

Ideas for visable scanning:

1. The screen should show what kind of scanning is running for the moment: Flash Scan, Custom Scan, or Full Scan

2. The screen should show not only a single file, but the whole path to it, if space admits it (eg. C:\Program\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe)

Cheers,

sweidre

I think that if you restart the computer while the scan is running it stops and end the process

A moving icon you will see but in most cases you will shutdown/reboot/etc. forgetting to look at tray icons ... why you should take care of background activities and don't let the application to do it for you ... for example if you try to reboot/shutdown/etc. program intercept that command and use a pop-up warning with YES/NO option about leaving the scan and shutdown/reboot/etc.

just a thought

Hi Orlando & Bogden!

Orlando, I hope that you are right here! I am a bit afraid, that a reboot during scannning will hurt the Immunet software in some way or cause a soft computer crasch?!

Bogden, in general, I don not like disturbing popups, but popups for warning with choice "Yes" or "No" are acceptable and very important in this case, I think!

Hovering over the icon

If I hover my cursor over the icon in the system tray, the text "Immunet Protect" appears and vanish, when I move my cursor away from it.

It should now be good if a second line under "Immunet Protect" should show either

1. Not Scanning!,

2. Flash Scanning.....,

3. Custom Scanning....., or

4. Full Scanning.....

I hope, that this will not hamper the scan-speed!

Percentage done or left should be good as progress info, but this will disturb the scanning speed, I read yesterday (I think, it was the comment of Millard?!)

For the moment, I have to click on the icon to open it up on the screen, in order to check, if Immunet is scanning or not! This is a clumsy way!!

Cheers,

sweidre

"Mr Scan Addict"

A day I get the test computer, from then on will any type of test (if I want to also advise them I would be grateful) and then I will tell you the results: for example if the scan is interrupted by disconnection of the PC. Seems like a good idea to ask if you want to delete the scan.

hehe ... now I see why ... because you are "Mr Scan Addict" ... it is not a bad idea to supervise your application in this case Immunet Protect but I want to give credit to Immunet Protect when I set a scan it will be done even if I'm not warned about what is doing in that moment ... in my opinion it has to be light and efficient.
