sweidre
Hi, I think, that Immunet FREE and PLUS are generally developing in parallell, but in the PLUS version there are additional features, that are missing in the FREE version! I have seen, that FREE members are answering questions, that are valid only for the PLUS version. This must be a bit annoying for the PLUS users. Therefore, I suggest, that a category should be added on the top level of the Forum called "Immunet PLUS", where PLUS' members can add their PLUS specific questions only. Of course, PLUS members should continue to add posts to the other main categories valid for both FREE & PLUS members! (I have myself by mistake replied to PLUS specific topics, but have later realised, that my answer(s) was (were) not at all valid) I apologise for replying to matters, that I should not give my comments to at all! Cheers, sweidre
Guest orlando
I do not agree, I use Immunet free, but I did experiment with Immunet plus and I'm still running tests and verifications in trial version. The nuances are also mild and I think a person should regulate itself, or must ask: "Can I answer this question?" or "Am I able to answer this question, I can give help?". In my opinion it all depends on each individual user. Orlando

Orlando Hi Orlando, Of course, FREE members should be fully allowed to give comments or put questions in the new category: "Immunet PLUS", because one day maybe FREE members will change into the PLUS version and they need info about the PLUS version before they upgrade! sweidre
I think there should be a part of Forum for the support and other to receive information for any product. And then of course subcategories. Orlando Hi Orlando! I am not sure, that I understand what you really mean! Of course, the "Immunet Plus" should be one category on the mail level like "Emergencies". Then "Immunet Plus" should be split into subcategories. Do you want to have one subcategory called "Support" and another called "Information"? For the moment we have "Immunet Plus" unstructured on many places on sublevels only for instance "Tetra". I think it should be better to create one "Immunet Plus" category on the main level and from there split into proper sublevels "Support", " Information" and maybe "Tetra". But I think, that members using PLUS with TETRA today should also give their opinion of a suitable split-up! Like you, I want to contribute to the development of Immunet! But I prefer Immunet with the database on the "cloud"-servers only. TETRA I do not like, because it stores the malware database in each individual computer. I think this a step backwards again. I think instead that malware databases on the "cloud"- servers have a real future! For the moment Immunet FREE and Immunet PLUS look very similar, but I think they will develop in different directions, and maybe FREE & PLUS will later on be two completely different softwares, I am afraid! Tell me, what you think! Cheers, sweidre PS. When we discuss matters like this one, I think it is better to communicate thru pesonal messages instead, because this board can be studied by anyone (visitors etc.) It is not good to express different opinions on this board. We may not here write anything, that will hurt the reputation of Immunet. DS
Guest orlando
Hi sweidre Yes you about the reason to discuss these issues privately, but I have not dented the reputation of Immunet indeed I try to express my ideas so some moderator can see what people "want." A final point, I think the forum should be divided into (in the second part of forum, under): "Information" -----> subcategories "Help and support" -----> subcategories "Contact and report" -----> subcategories PS: I believe in my words there is nothing wrong. About what I think about TETRA and malware in the cloud I'll write a personal message. These are the real issues to talk in private Cheers, Orlando

I cannot see any problems with that at all! I believe, those categories can be used for both FREE and PLUS members. What I meant with opening this topic thread was to have an extra main category: "Immunet PLUS" for topics that are specific for PLUS only (eg. TETRA module), because in the PLUS version there are other issues non existing in the FREE version. Cheers, sweidre

DS Hi Orlando, My proposal to discuss Immunet delicate matters on a PM (Private or Personal Message) was a really bad idea of mine! I did not know until now, that each PM is limited to 400 characters only, so maybe we have to use email correspondence or still publish on the official Forum by avoiding to be too frank regarding Immunet delicate matters. Until now, you have not written anything, that might hurt Immunet, but I maybe wrote too much about PLUS & TETRA! As I am not using PLUS with TETRA nowadays, its better, that I discuss the FREE version only! Cheers, sweidre

Cheers, sweidre I believe that everyone should discuss what he knows and not to respond to previous post each person will be curious and will see in section plus though not even know what it is, then I think it's useless. Also a division between the free to plus versions of the forum and would lead another detachment between the two versions. (In practice seem different companies) still continue to discuss these issues as we did, via personal messages. Orlando

If you login properly to the Forum as a member, you will see a category in the bottom: Private Forums: Immunet insiders If you just visit the website http://forum.immunet.com/ without loging in properly as a member, all Forum categories can be seen, but not: Private Forums: Immunet insiders This means, that outside people, not being members of the Immunet Forum, can visit and read everything in the Forum, but not these Private Forums! That also means, that by using the "Immunet insiders" category, we can discuss all delicate matters there, and our discussion there can be read by all Immunet staff & members, but not by "visitors only"! In other words, we can discuss anything as before, by opening a topic in the "Immunet insiders" category! Problem is solved! Maybe all development ideas would be discussed there!? I must say, that this Forum is very well organized, indeed! Cheers, sweidre

sweidre
Sorry, but I have not seen this part of the forum say. How can I become immunet Insider? Orlando Hi Orlando, You are logged in as a member, but still you cannot see this Immunet Insider Forum? On my profile it is written that I belong to the group: "Immunet Insiders". I am not sure how I became a member of Immunet Insiders. I have paid a subscription for Immunet PLUS, can that be the reason? But I have now left Immunet PLUS and am using only the FREE version now, but still I can enter into Immunet Insider Forum! I advice you to write a personal message to Millard and put your question to him! Cheers, sweidre
