Immunet License Gone And Wont Run

Recommended Posts

5 days ago my paid for version of immunet 3 stopped running and the license key has disappeared from where i put it when registering it, Now i cannot get immunet to run and i cannot put the license in it wont allow it.

I tried downloading a new version did fresh install and then it kept saying cannot upgrade windows sp2,close old version and retry.

I do not have the old version as this was a new install and the other one was removed and when it asked will i be reinstalling i said no.

If the message being displayed is "Cannot Upgrade XP SP2! Please uninstall the previous version of Immunet 3.0 and try this installer.", the most likely cause is that you are running Windows XP SP2 or earlier, which are unfortunately not supported by Immunet currently. You can check your service pack level by doing the following:

1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel

2. Click 'Performance and Maintenance' -> 'System', or just click 'System' if it is listed

3. In the 'General' tab under 'System' it should list your operating system and service pack level.

If you are at SP2 or lower, I would recommend upgrading to SP3 through Windows Update -- SP2 is no longer supported by Microsoft and does not get security updates. You should be able to get this through Windows Update, and more information is available through Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389

Hopefully this will solve your problems but please reply or mail support@immunet.com if you continue to have issues.
