yashukawa
Hi all! I was wondering how I can restore some quarantined files, my trial expired today and I noticed that I have 34 files in quarantine, which I'm afraid are files that belong to a customer's website. I need to restore them and clean them manually... The files in the quarantine folder are probably encrypted and I can't view their contents. Any help will be much appreciated. Kind regards, yashukawa
ritchie58
What you'll have to do is uninstall the expired trial version first. When asked by the uninstaller if you plan to reinstall Immunet again click on "Yes" and then reinstall with the "free" version. Once the free version is installed open the GUI and click on Quarantine. There you will see all files that have been quarantined. Click on a file and and click on "Restore." That will move the files to the Exclusion List and you should be able to manually remove them. I think it's kind of odd though that so many files were quarantined from your customer's web site in the first place. He's not running a malicious web site is he? It could be that the files haven't been seen by Immunet before and were flagged as suspicious and quarantined for that reason or they're genuine malicious files. If they are indeed malicious you run the very high risk of infecting your own machine if you restore them. You do have the option to have the files scanned or search the database at Virustotal.
