ritchie58
After some teeth gnashing, hair pulling and fist pounding I finally worked out a solution why I couldn't get Panda Cloud 2.0 to install properly. If you use Comodo Internet Security, to save yourself a lot of aggravation, disable the Defense+ feature from the GUI setting before you attempt to install Panda or it absolutly will not install properly! More info can be found here. If you use Immunet with Panda Cloud, as I do, you can temporarily disable Monitor Program Install & Blocking Mode with Immunet before running the Panda installer to speed things up too. Just don't forget to turn back on Immunet's and Comodo's Defense+ settings afterwards and you should be good to go!
ritchie58
I have contacted Comodo about this conflict to make them aware of the situation. I asked them if it's possible to whitelist the RarSFX files needed to install Panda Cloud. So far I haven't received a reply which doesn't surprise me. Talking from experience Comodo's support help can be less than stellar (and that's putting it mildly) at times unfortunately.
