millard@immunet.com 124 Report post Posted September 19, 2012 Tonight our service provider will be upgrading the forum version of the software and put us on a new server. Hopefully this will stop the outages, so we can provide better service. Unfortunately this will cause a 30 minute outage while DNS propagates.
millard@immunet.com 124 Report post Posted September 19, 2012 Upgrade is complete. I need fix the skin. Probably the most annoying thing that happened during the upgrade is my login name changed. For example, I used to login as millard@immunet.com. Now I have to login as millard with my same password.
ritchie58 393 Report post Posted September 19, 2012 I do like the new skin Millard but it will take some getting use to the change. That will be cool if I never see that server error message again! Cudos on that. There is one bug I've encountered though. I can't seem to access the profile page for myself or anyone else. Since there is no longer the Private Message feature included in user's posts there is no way to PM anyone at the moment. Also I'm sorry to see the most recent content feature gone. That was a quick way for me to check if spammers have added new threads to old topics instead of creating a new topic.
millard@immunet.com 124 Report post Posted September 19, 2012 There are a few peculiarities Travis and Nick are working through: * The header that used to have links for support * PM * Clicking on peoples names and it throwing up an error: Fatal error: Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format major ID 2, whereas the Loader expects 4 in/home/immunetc/public_html/admin/applications/members/extensions/profileTabs/aboutme.conf.php on line
nwarshawski@sourcefire.com 4 Report post Posted September 19, 2012 Hello All, The profile issue has been resolved, so profiles and PMs should work properly now. Thanks for your patience. Nick
millard@immunet.com 124 Report post Posted September 19, 2012 Everything should be fixed now, please ping us if you find something that's not working. Also, if you can't remember your login name (it's usually the first part before the @ in your email address), do a password reset and it'll list it there. ritchie58 393 Report post Posted September 20, 2012 Ok, the "View New Content" button on the upper right hand side does give you the ability to view "all" new content posted. That's good! Is that newly added or I just didn't notice it before? Either way that's a great feature to help detect any spamming attempts. I think what threw me off is the same type of feature was located at the "bottom" of the forum home page with the old skin.

ritchie58 393 Report post Posted October 31, 2012 (edited) I noticed that Firefox's spellchecker no longer works since the upgrade which I find a little odd. It's like something is blocking the spellchecker from working only on this forum as far as I can tell. This isn't any real biggie but I thought I would mention it as I'm not exactly the worlds' perfect speller, lol! Edit: Ok, thanks for fixing that! Much appreciated!
