Immunet Screen Won't Open

Recommended Posts

I am having difficulty running Immunet.

I downloaded Immunet 64-bit for Windows and installed it on Windows 7 64-bit with Norton Internet Security 2012. I installed Immunet and I can see it on the system tray. When I try to open the program from the system tray, a white box appears on my screen and nothing else happens.

I tried disabling Norton Auto-protect and Norton Smart Firewall, but the results are still the same. Is there setting or compatibility problem I should know about?

Hi persius, past Norton AV software has been compatable with Immunet. So I don't see why this newest offering shouldn't be either. One thing to do when running Immunet with another AV product is to put each software's Program Files folder in their respective Exclusion or Safe Programs List. Also make sure that your firewall is not blocking or sandboxing the processes agent.exe and iptray.exe (if your using the ClamAV module, freshclam.exe as well). If you still get the white screen then maybe you got a bad install. Try uninstalling Immunet. When asked if you are going to reinstall Immunet click NO. This will give you a completely clean uninstall but you will have to reconfigure your Settings and Exclusion List again. Then reinstall Immunet. Also, here is an old post that may be pertanent to your issue. http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/578-no-ui-showing/page__p__3282&do=findComment&comment=3282 If you continue to encounter issues could you please send a SDT Report. Info on how to create a report can be found here. http://forum.immunet...ic-tool-report/ Best wishes, Ritchie...
