lost
After installing the Immunet antivirus I can't access local resources (shared folders on the network). Only after I turned on and off network connection, local network becomes available. After each reboot - manipulation should be repeated. What could be the reason for the failure? Prior to installing an antivirus everything was fine. Immunet 3.0: 3.0.8.9025 OS: Windows XP SP3
ritchie58
Hi lost, it has come to our attention that the newest 3.0.8.9025 version of Immunet has a bug that will interfere with Win XP being used in a networked enviroment & Server 2003. I'm sure this is what you are seeing. The next build will address this issue. At the moment there is no fix for this bug until the next build is rolled out though. Sorry for any inconvience this must be causing. Regards, Ritchie...
bvamundsen
Hi Richie58, I'm sorry to report that the same bug is affecting my WinXP MCE2005 with Immunet 3.0.8.9015! I too can no longer get to my network shared folders. I get the message that the resource isn't available or I'm not authorized to access it and should see my administrator (at which I look in a mirror LOL) to get assistance. I'm looking for a beta to test soon, yes? Otherwise I'm constantly restarting without Immunet. Let me know if a SDP should be generated. Best Regards, Brian A
ritchie58
Yeah, this bug could also have been present in the earlier 3.0.8 beta version as well. That would not surprise me one bit. I wish it would have been found when we were beta testing! As you know support is aware of this bug but you are welcome to submit a SDT Report Brian. Perhaps some additional useful info can be gleened from the report. Best wishes, Ritchie...
