I did not install anything recently, then i deleted the program from my computer (via control panel), but toolbar still has a presence in my computer, i want to thoroughly delete it. someone give me a removal guide link here, But it requires to download sth, so can someone know whether it is reliable? ritchie58 Posted September 24, 2013 Report Share Posted September 24, 2013 You didn't install anything recently? That's perhaps a cause for concern as to how you aquired the downlaod. Usually the Ask toolbar comes bundled with another software installer and if you're not careful to "opt out" you end up with a toolbar you didn't want. On the other hand, here's a link to the folks at Ask.com regarding removal of their toolbar & how to restore your home page and search engine that you might find informative. http://help.ask.com/...Ask-com-Toolbar I have never heard of this YAC software before which, personally, would make me a little suspicious to use it until I did some research on the web about the program to see if it's actually legitimate and how well people like it.
