WITTY
I've just used Immunet for the first time and it seems to be pretty good. It's all set up nicely now for more scanning. Can anybody tell me if Immunet is ok to use alongside MSE please..?? I hope it can be as I don't want any conflicting or misleading results. ritchie58
Hi WITTY, the free version of Immunet can be used along side of Microsoft Security Essentials. It is important, however, to add MSE's Program Files folder into Immunet's Exclusion list. Do the same for Immunet's Program Files folder for MSE's Exceptions list as well. That way they will recognize each other as safe programs and there should be no compatability issues. If you are using the Plus (paid) version of Immunet it's best if you use that as a stand alone AV solution with the TETRA module enabled & the ClamAV module turned off. Cheers, Ritchie...
