JimmyJo
Ok. Disable sfc and visible changes do not see. Except missing load on the processor. After you disable sfc lost the ability to scan folders from the shell Exprorer. The inscription scanning have (Immunet Protect - Scan Now), but does not start. I start a scan from Windows Explorer menu only before the first reboot with enabled SFC. Can reinstall? 01:03 time soon sleep.
ritchie58
Hi JimmyJo, if you disabled sfc.exe you wouldn't be able to scan any files at all as that's the main process for Immunet 3.1.8. Before you do a reinstall I would suggest you wait and see what Jose has to say. Did you send in that SDT report that Jose asked for? If not, please do so as that could be a great help in finding a remedy for your issue. Cheers, Ritchie...

JimmyJo
On a forum I go to the link I can download, save in the menu of the browser. I don't know why from the cloud zip archive is save as a file, without the extension with a different name. "Browser - Save target as", rename in the "name.zip" Program to upload files save without extension with a different name. Through the browser save normal. SeaMonkey. And look at the mail. JimmyJo
I can use the Internet because removed the program. Without the Internet does not start scanning, interface too, writes need the Internet. But when the Internet was the last version to scan only be executed from within Explorer and interface, but does not run from programs such as FreeCommander. My connect to the internet: VPN over LAN, not a VPN over the Internet.

Velhenn
Hello there. sfc.exe is indeed an Immunet service which seems to contain the ClamAV module too. I had an "issue" with it too: it takes more than 230MB of RAM when ClamAV is enabled in the options, which bothers me a bit so I went back to the combo ClamWin+ClamSentinel, which is not optimal but hey. If something is done about it in the future I'll surely come back to Immunet.
Jose
Hi Velhenn, When you have an issue, please start a new topic. I'd be interested to know what kind of settings you were running overall (as in, your computer setup) to figure out why Immunet was taking up 230MB of RAM. If you can, contact us at support@immunet.com with the subject 'For Jose - Forum - SFC 230MB RAM' Cheers, -Jose
Dcudnohu1
I like Immunet. I've been using it for months. This latest version has some real problems including this SFC problem and the fact that I cannot get my Panda Anti-virus software to work as well. Could someone please tell me how I can load down the previous release of this software. I didn't have any of these problems with 3.0, all these problems started with this 3.1 version. HELP????? Jose
Hi Dcudnohu1, As I mentioned in the previous post, please start a new topic unless your problem is exactly the same as the one described in this topic. You can also contact us to support@immunet.com and we can help you out (weekdays is when we are guaranteed to be there). -Jose
ritchie58
Hi Dcudnohu1, Jose is correct. It's best if you create a new topic than post a thread in a unrelated topic. I have used Panda Cloud Anti-Virus with Immunet Free in the past. I'll send you a Private Message on some steps you can take that should make them compatable. Best wishes, Ritchie...
