False Positive

Helo eloise, this is an ongoing issue with TDSSKiller that hasn't been resolved yet. http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/2539-new-tdsskiller-false-positives-contact-us-error-message/ You can use the Restore option in Quarantine to restore the .zip installer and the executable. This will create Exclusions for these files and TDSSKiller will launch and scan normally after that. I too would like to see this recurring False Positive for every new build of TDSSKiller resolved myself as I and my roommate also use this anti-rootkit utility as an additional scanner! It is getting to be a bit of a pain to create new exclusions for every new build I have to admit!

Thank you very much for your prompt and helpful reply ritchie58. :) I will do as you instructed. Yes, like you I have been using this anti-rootkit utility as an additional scanner for some time and want to carry on, let's hope this issue gets resolved soon. I assume the revelant person/people are aware of it.

 

Update: Having just been to the link you provided seems they are.
