vlad1.96
Your design is creepy Please, make it more light and simple, like new windows, without shining and hard background pictures! simple: Edited April 4, 2015 by vlad1.
ritchie58
Hi vlad, are you sure you got the right forum? This forum is for Immunet Protect antivirus users. I don't see how the image files you uploaded pretain to this software. Can you clarify exactly what you find "creapy or crapy" about Immunet Protect's User Interface if I happen to be mistaken? ritchie58
Ok, I get it. Yeah, Immunet's GUI hasn't had an update in some time. It still pushes the purchase of the Plus version that hasn't been avaliable for some time now. That's the thing that really annoys me the most about the User Interface, especially the completely useless side banner. God only knows when this is going to be fixed. It seems Immunet is the low man on the totum pole as far as "ANY" further development occuring of late! Very disappointing the direction this once very innovative software has gone and is going if you ask me. Regards, Ritchie...
fblais
I'm very disappointed as well, but not really surprised...
Zurchiboy
I think immunet a user interface could be redone for a morer modern look.

LucasLks
Hello everyone, I see a lot of future in this software, its interface is destined to "the end", compared to other interfaces today ... But instead of just talking, I made a new design for Immunet AntiVirus .. .I only did the basic part, in case I get you back, I can go back to work on the interface and finish for a new look to the software. Here are the images: I look forward to the feedback from the developers, and also from the community. Att: Lucas Lks
Idanox
I would like to use it if it was possible to upload it manually.
Guest Wookiee
Hey everyone! Yes, more can be done with the overall design, and I can bring it up to the rest of the developers for a potential future release. @lucasLKs, you must know I am a sucker for anything dark themed because I dislike bright, bright colors in software. I actually really dig the design, though- I would probably tweak somethings. personally- interfaces are important for people to understand and use, and command-line only is more outdated than anything ( depending on who's actually using it, skill level, etc).I am simply saying, you all ARE being heard, and I will bring it up to the rest of the team. Guest Wookiee
I have passed everything on to the development team and showed them the colors used by @LucasLks Which, they liked. We don't have an ETA or anything of the sort but we are in the talks of updating the UI
ritchie58
I would certainly put my vote in to have the Immunet U.I. get a new facelift. That would be a great addition to a new build I think.

Andrew100
Will there be any updates/improvements coming to Immunet anytime soon? Cisco has bought out Immunet ages ago and to be honest it doesn't really seem like they have done that much. They are such a big company and have millions of dollars. So it's not like they are short of money. The GUI is awful, outdated and hard to use. Also there can be a lot of improvements detection wise like with behaviour blocking, so will there be any updates?

Also there can be a lot of improvements detection wise like with behaviour blocking, so will there be any updates? What kind of features would you like to see? The GUI, we know needs updating and we will do that. We have recently (with the latest version) setup a NEW cloud env, which is why we are decommissioning the old March 4th. I will agree, we have done a TON of backend changes recently which the user doesn't necessarily see. The last versions added support for other operating systems (server 2019 RTM, etc). We have also been focused recently on performance enhancements so that Immunet doesn't take up as much resources when using the product (which was a complaint we received). We have added Malicious Activity Protection engine for detecting ransomware and system process protection as well. But I do promise, everyone's voices and thoughts are being heard and we will continue to add value into the product with new features moving forward. If there is something you would like to see, message me and we can discuss it.

Spacer
Update the UI ASAP. 1st top priority. The starter of the topic is 100% right. Just remove all the outdated now, fantastic super wow complex backgrounds with shadows and flashy corners that are influenced by Windows Vista and Windows 7. Even drop down menus animations would not need if they are acting like the computer is 486. You do not need to reinvent the wheel, just look the top 10 competitors, change the colors according to your company, put your logo and you are there already. Simplicity is everything. And mouse hover change color of a link was always important in the UX that is still not implemented.
Andrew100
I wonder if they are working on the UI update right now because it has been awhile.
