I clicked on some X'S thinking they they would expand but they were deleted. Is this a issue & if so is there a solution.

Hi compleo, you might have accidentally deleted some of the exclusions that Immunet needs to function properly.

If I encountered this situation I would try a uninstall and then reinstall Immunet again. I think you should try that too. When asked by the uninstaller if you plan to reinstall Immunet again choose "NO" and proceed with the remainder of the uninstall process.

This will give you a completely clean uninstall with all the .db history files deleted. You will have to configure your settings and add your exclusions once again after reinstalling.

Keep in mind that Immunet does use a bootstrapper installer so an "uninterrupted internet connection is required" when the files are being downloaded and installed. Also, make sure that no other program is blocking/interrupting the install like your firewall (create allow rules for sfc.exe and iptray.exe if you have to) or other security apps. Let us know if this corrects the issue.

Cheers, Ritchie...

???...lol

I don't know if the issue is corrected because i'm not sure what it is supposed to be under "file exclusions".I included a capture,is this normal.

If you did choose no during the uninstall that was the right thing to do. Yeah, the Exclusion list looks normal now! As you can see some of the antivirus programs that are compatible with Immunet are already excluded by default. Yo can use Immunet as a companion AV to other compatible AV solutions. It provides an added layer of protection but you can use Immunet as a "stand-alone" AV too. That's entirely up to you.

It is recommended that you add the Program Files folder into Immunet's Exclusion list of any other security apps you may be using that's not in this list just to avoid any conflicts. You can delete the exclusions for the AV programs that's not installed on your system. That doesn't do any harm.

I would highly recommend you leave the Immunet, Prefetch, CatRoot2 and emptyregdb.dat exclusions alone however. That X to the right of the exclusions is where you can delete any exclusion so be careful with those.

Here is a Immunet 3.0 User Guide. It's a bit old, the current UI looks different and this guide really needs to be updated but it still has lots of useful information. Disregard the sections concerning the "My Community" feature as this is no longer part of Immunet. http://support.immunet.com/index.php?/page/index.html/_/knowledge-base/immunet-protect-3-0-user-guide-using-immunet

If you have any questions as to which settings to use or how to add exclusions after going over the user guide feel free to "Private Message" me and I'd be happy to assist you personally.

Best wishes, Ritchie...
