pele
It is clamav engine problem False detection, many files as Win.Trojan.Bancos-2115 Database number 21360 had a large number of false positive fixes. http://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?p=18954#18954 http://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?t=4368

ritchie58
After restoring the files the browser still doesn't work! That is a little strange. pele sorry to hear about all the potential false positives. Could you gentlemen please submit a support dump? Info on how to create and send a SDT report to Support can be found at this FAQ topic. http://support.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/1672-how-do-i-submit-a-support-diagnostic-tool-report/ Regards, Ritchie... compleo
It basically tied my hands,it was like my puter was almost useless.I had no choice but to remove immunet & my browser & reinstall the browser. I'm not able to submit a support dump since i no longer have immunet installed.I'm dubious about reinstalling it since it might not be fixed & if it is fixed this might happen again. daphneg
Hi Pele, Compleo, Sorry to hear about your difficulties. From what I've gathered, there was one definition that triggered the FP but they released subsequent signatures to correct this. The definition update by Feb 13 08:42:01 EST 2016 should no longer trigger the FP. If you encounter FPs again, I would suggest reporting it to http://www.clamav.net/reports/fp. Malicious files go to http://www.clamav.net/reports/malware. Youcan also join their mailing list (and user support): http://lists.clamav.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clamav-virusdb- for changes in virus definitions http://lists.clamav.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clamav-users- for user support/discussions Thanks, Daphne
