ritchie58
Hi Alfonso. Did you add an "exclusion" for Immunet's entire 5.0 Program Files folder with Panda Free? If not give that a try and reboot to see if that corrects the issue. Also, it's highly recommended that you add an exclusion for Panda's entire Program Files folder into Immunet's Exclusion list as well. Excluding both Program Files folders in their respective AV exclusion lists really does help avoid conflicts when using Immunet as a companion AV to another security product.I use Panda Free 2016 myself as an added layer of security so if you're not sure how to add these exclusions for Panda or Immunet feel free to "Private Message" me and I can give you detailed instructions on how this is done. One more consideration, make sure no other installed security app (such as your firewall, behavior blocker, etc...) you may be using is not blocking or sand-boxing Immuent's processes (iptray.exe & sfc.exe) or is blocking internet access to and from Immunet.Let us know if this does not correct the problem.Best wishes, Ritchie... davemc@mail.com
Hey Ritchie- what is the sfc.exe? Thanx, Dave
ritchie58
Hi Dave, hope everything is well with you! The main Immunet process for earlier versions was agent.exe. This was changed (I forget what previous build it was now) to sfc.exe because some forms of malware actually can use a process called agent.exe or some similar variant. Of course "Immunet's agent.exe was not malicious" but I'm sure you can see the logic behind changing the name of the main process! The process iptray.exe (the tray icon & the GUI) controls the interaction between the User Interface and sfc.exe.Cheers, Ritchie...
