When attempting to download Acunetix Free Manual Pen Testing Tools it is blocked as: W32.SPERO.RF.RET.80.

 

Says the quarantine was successful before the file starts downloading.

Hi Theo, I'm as sure as you are that this is a definite FP as Acunetix is a legitimate internet security company. To get the Acunetix tools downloaded and installed without Immunet causing any conflicts might I suggest you temporarily disable Immunet completely. Here's how:

Right click on the Immunet tray icon and select "Hide Tray Icon" from the little pop-up context menu.

Then use this CMD command: net stop immunetprotect

After downloading and installing the tools you can restart Immunet by this command: net start immunetprotect

To relaunch the UI simply click on Immunet's desktop icon or the icon located in Immunet's folder for the All Programs directory.

 

If you continue to have any conflicts with Immunet "after installation" please let us know. Immunet does have a Restore feature for quarantined files that are deemed FP's which could be of use in this situation.
