Mrg Test

This probably one of the most relevant tests available to consumers. I've been watching this from the start and emailed and pm'd Al and Sveta to have Immunet included. I'm sure I'm not the only one who pressured, uh petitioned, for our favorite anti-bad app. I was delighted to see it show up today and even more so with the results!

I've been compiling results in Google Docs spreadsheet parked in a public folder:

I'll keep it up to date.

Thanks Al! Thanks Sveta!

Enjoy.

Looks like its the Immunet engines making the detection because Bitdefender failed. Good to see.

I noticed that too. It'll be fun keeping an eye on that relationship. But since BitDefender itself is a subject of this MRG series, a true test of the Cloud Side of things would have been better measured with Tetra disabled (or Free).

A bit off topic but of of interest to us geeks :P are the GData results - it uses Avast and BitDefender engines. Note how it fails when they both fail and if either passes, it passes. Goes to show how well designed is GData's integration of the two. If you consider failures, that is...

@Orlando You're welcome!
