All Text Is Missing On Seven

Hi,

 

I have a issue with immunet 2.0.15 on seven, all text is missing on gui.

I already try to reinstall it without result. I try on an another computer with seven, there is no issue.

Can you add information on your computer and operating system? Have you tried to do a cleanup after uninstall?

 

For proper reinstallation do this:

 

1-Uninstall Immunet normally;

2-To the question: "Will you use Immunet again in the future?" select No and restart immediately;

3-Make a scan with Ccleaner (scans the hd and registry);

4-After that download the latest version from the official website of Immunet;

5-reinstall.

Hi,

 

I think i had the same problem few days ago,i guess it's about IE component issue which Immunet based on,you can try run "services.msc " see if there is any content of your services,i think you'll see nothing like your Immunet.

 

You can try reinstall IE6 then upgrade to IE8 to fix it,if it doesn't work...maybe you your only choice is reinstall your OS~

As you may not know, you can't install ie 6 on seven.

 

Service is ok. And this computer won't be formated because there is one other choice : to not install Immunet :P

 

 

The computer run on Windows Seven 32 bits.

 

graphics cards, Radeon HD 5000 series, with the latest catalyst drivers, DirectX 11 .

 

CPU Intel Quad 9550, Memory 4 Gb, Motherboard: Asus Maximus 2 Formula (chipset Intel P45).

 

Windows are up to date,

 

the two services run on my task manager, but the graphical interface make this picture immunet.png

 

i have reseting IE8, but the issue is not resolving.

 

no Adblocker run.

 

The first installation of immunet was uninstall with revo uninstaller for registry clean...temporary files is cleaning to.

 

With another installation same issue.

What information about the computer do you want?

 

Hardware I only know Windows 7 32bit, for software I would like more information.

 

Do you use Opera? Or some other browser different from IE, Chrome or Firefox?

 

I want to know further details of the launch programs automatically, with Immunet.

yes i use Opéra, the last version ,and Firefox 3.6.9

 

Starting programs: Antivir premium 9 (but no conflict)

 

Smax4 4pnp application (for my soundcard)

 

And java (last version)

 

The problem is obviously with Opera, as it is incompatible. After uninstalling the problem does not happen again.

I have uninstalling Opéra, clear the registry, the preftech and the cache...but same issue

 

Incompatibility with directx11?

Very strange, try reinstalling Immunet with a reboot, I do not have a problem with directx11.

No we don't depend on Java. There is some Javascript used which IE interprets.

It seems IE is the culprit, I don't think it's directX because we don't use it. If I turn off things like "Show pictures" then you stop seeing the images, but this behavior would turn UI completely white and not like the screenshot you've shown. My suggestion is to go to "Internet Options", click on the Advanced tab, and click on "Reset...". This will reset all of your IE settings. Then you'll need to right-click on the tray icon, select Exit, and relaunch the tray. Hopefully this will resolve your issue.

 

There are two other possibilities:

1) Something is preventing you from writing to your IE cache.

2) You are getting a Javascript error. I hoping the reset will delete your IE history as well.

Immunet work only on IE? Its not possible to use with Firefox cache ?

The presentation uses underlying IE libraries. Please try exiting the tray and right-clicking on the short-cut to run as administrator. It could be a write permissions issue (not sure why others wouldn't be seeing the same thing though). I still think it's a Javascript error. I'll keep trying to reproduce this.

I take the trial version of windows 7 manager (Yamicsoft), and, repair center, and check rebuilt the WMI...another misc utilities are interesting..

 

And my Windows run very well...

Edit: its possible with this command.

 

NET STOP winmgmt

DEL %systemroot%\System32\wbem\Repository\*.*

NET START winmgmt

 

restart your computer.

Also It's possible to see if the WMI is working properly by:

 

 

 

  1. Right-click the My Computer icon and select Manage. (Alternate: Click Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management.)
  2. Left-click the [+] next to Services and Applications to expand the tree view.
  3. Left-click on WMI Control.
  4. Now, right-click on the same WMI Control item and select Properties.
  5. If WMI is working properly, you will see "Successfully connected to <local computer>".
  6. If WMI is broken, you will see one or more error messages in the dialog.
