Immunet 6 And Windows Xp

Since Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft you will see that more and more software vendors will no longer support this outdated Operating System as time goes by. XP leaves your computer more vulnerable to malware, hackers and zero-day threats since Microsoft security patches are no longer being issued. My best advice would be to upgrade your Operating System to something newer.

Sometimes its not possible. Pls let the notiication about upgrading to 6.0 on XP disappear. It shows nearly each hour.

There are two solutions you can use to keep getting bothered about updating every hour. As elzach pointed out one would be to use "Gaming Mode" in Notification Settings. This will stop all pop-up messages including if a malware detection/quarantine response happens.

Another option would be to right click on Immunet's tray icon and select "Hide Tray Icon" from the little pop-up menu (thanks for reminding me about that one RobT) but as with the other option you will not be notified if something malicious is quarantined which is less than desirable.

That is really not good. No solution is acceptable and antivirus well solved.
