Hi Dave, glad to see ya posting again! Mmm. I believe that appears to be a left-over file from the bootstrapper installer. Why it remained in your ProgramData directory is a mystery to me. Out of curiosity I checked the same file path on my computer and nothing like that. Just a few iptray error logs are present in a text document. I'm sure it would be safe to delete that left-over file.

Cheers, Ritchie...

Thanx Ritchie

Havn't been here much- because not much was going on.

Nice to have a new version and update .04

I believe you (or someone) replied to a different thread that- most, if not all, files from previous versions could be safely deleted?

I have done full new installs several times previously, complete with choosing to delete all data , but while checking through my files I find many old files (and version artifacts) present.

Do you think it would be safe to delete everything prior to the date I installed .0.4 (today)?

Glad to see you're still active here

Dave

I know that Immunet will leave behind data from the previously installed build. More than one folder may be present in the Immunet Program Files directory if you've updated from the original version you installed. This actually is for a reason in case you needed to create a Support Diagnostic Tool report to send in or for debugging purposes.

On the down side, you can't delete these old folders without completely killing Immunet first. Unfortunately I no longer have the correct CMD's to manually kill & restart Immunet without re-booting since version 5. I gotta check into it if those CMD's still exist. Would be nice to know. It would still be possible using the Windows msconfig utility and the Diagnostic Startup option, adjusting the Sartup tab & re-booting or just using Safe Mode without Networking, one of those three should work.

It would be a good idea to keep the previous folder of the last build you used intact just in case.

Cheers, Ritchie...
