Pepitodelospalotes
We recommend in the next version of Immunet change the ClamAV Antivirus Engine for BitDefender Engine.
ritchie58
That's is an 'interesting idea' but I doubt that's going to happen anytime in the foreseeable future. Considering the fact that besides Immunet, Cisco also owns ClamAV & there would have to be a paid licensing agreement reached with BitDefender to use it's detection engine. I doubt that the powers that be would want to spend that extra money would be my honest opinion. Regards, Ritchie...
lavamagma
i am more on a against side on this feature. immunet already has its own engine(s) enough to operate. bitdefender has a some kind of free version, so why not use as a companion antivirus. free version requires registration though. ritchie58
Regardless if a paid agreement would have to be reached with BitDefender or not I still don't see that happening for the reasons I mentioned in my last thread to this topic.
