Zamik
Hello I installed Immunet in February on Windows server 2008 R2 and everything worked OK. Today I logged to my VPS server and I see message (baloon tooltip) that some important driver was not loaded.. I rebooted but it does not helped. Then I uninstalled and installed Immunet again but it does not helped, too. Now I see that file c:\Program Files\Immunet\6.0.8\sfc.exe.log grows connstantly and inside file are lot of error logs.. something like: (966301, +0 ms) Jun 22 08:19:10 [85172]: ERROR: read_fltprot failure connecting to ImmunetSelfProtect driver: 0x80070002 (968298, +1997 ms) Jun 22 08:19:12 [68820]: ERROR: InitializeCksumThread : failure connecting to driver: 0x80070002 (968298, +0 ms) Jun 22 08:19:12 [68820]: ERROR: read_fltcksum failure connecting to ImmunetProtect driver: 378 : 6 : Handle is invalid. What can I do, please?
Guest Wookiee
Are you installing this with admin access? Do you have any software for "speeding up your computer" or any other anti-virus software programs on this machine. Just so you know, Immunet is for at home use only, and is not to be used in a corporate environment.
Guest Wookiee
I will also say, we don't officially support VPS as of today, but in theory it should work. From the messages in the logs you sent, it looks like a bad install. Either something removed the file(s), or they weren't extracted correctly during install. Zamik
Hello thank you for your support. Yes, I'm full administrator. I have no "speeding my computer" software or such, but yes, I have Dr. Web Plesk antivirus. The thing is - I have installed Immunet on February and it worked perfect all the time and I saw this baloon tooltp before 2-3 days (that important driver is not loaded). I have nothing installed or removed in that time. I also try to reinstall Immunet but it does not helped. It display (in sfc.exe.log file) those errors (all the time): (966301, +0 ms) Jun 22 08:19:10 [85172]: ERROR: read_fltprot failure connecting to ImmunetSelfProtect driver: 0x80070002(968298, +1997 ms) Jun 22 08:19:12 [68820]: ERROR: InitializeCksumThread : failure connecting to driver: 0x80070002 Do you have idea what those error number means? Thank you.
Guest Wookiee
Typically, it can't connect to the driver file and or can't find it. Rebooting sometimes helps, but if the file is "gone" it could of been removed by the other anti-virus which isn't uncommon. I would try to write an exception path for the antivurses and when immunet is installed an an exception for Web Plesk as well. I would uninstall it, and reinstall in safe mode if possible. Add the exception paths, and then reboot and see if that fixes it.
Zamik
Hello reboot does not helped. We use DrWebCom, webmail antivirus and there is no option to add exception. This antivirus is installed before 3 years and Immunet before 6 months. Everything worked fine all the time. It does not work for last 3-4 days. I can not run safe mode but I try to reinstall, it does not helped. Did you (development) changed something in program in last few days, please? Maybe you added some new options or changed something? I mean, software can not work correctly for 6 months and then it start to produce errors. Thank you.
Guest Wookiee
Nothing was changed in the last few days. We do not push new features or anything like that. We release new install files with new features when the time comes. The only updates that should of happened are signature (detection), which won't do anything with the driver. I can send you a message to send me a support log. But the error you previously wrote, means that there is either a file missing, or maybe that file is corrupt, or removed. Hello please tell me what I need to do and how to send you support log. I'm not sure what file is missing or corrupted, I hope you can see this. Thank you.
