Question: to real-time protection

With earlier builds you could use a couple of CMD commands to start & stop Immunet without rebooting. With the new Immunet 6 builds that is no longer possible unfortunately. My advise would be to simply go into Settings and turn off everything if you wish to disable the real-time protection. Just don't forget to re-configure the Settings back to the way you had them afterwards! Why would you want to disable all of the real-time protection anyway?

For Windows Updates (or any other software installer I know is safe & legit) I usually "disable Monitor Program Install & Blocking Mode only" prior to installation just to speed things up a bit.

Adding exclusions to Immunet is relatively easy. Go into Settings and scroll down to Exclusions and click on that. I usually like to use the "Browse" feature to find the right file path for the Exclusion I want by searching my OS  C:\ drive and just click on the file/folder path once you locate it. Then click on Add Exclusion. You can manually type in the correct file path too.

Just remember that once a file/folder is excluded it will no longer be scanned for malware so use this feature very judiciously. The fewer exclusions you use the better for your overall system's protection.
