ToanLuong
I install Immunet on Windows Server 2012 R2 version 6.3 (Build 9600). My Immunet version is 6.0.8.10638, when update it shows error: Unable to install update like picture below, please help me to fix: I've tried restart server, uninstall and install Immunet again but not successful. Guest Wookiee
Hey! Do you have admin access on that PC? Internet connection? Enough space on the hard drive? Try to do the update in 'safe mode with networking' and see if that corrects the issue.
msp
I have the same issue, but in my case, it can't update and scan

Have you tried safemode with networking to see if that works? You could, instead of doing an upgrade. Do a new install- To do that, you could go to the immunet website (immunet.com), and download the latest version. Make sure you uninstall the previous version first. ritchie58
It's also not a bad idea to check if another software package is interfering with/blocking Immunet's processes or internet connections, such as your firewall of choice not properly configured to allow both UDP, TCP in-coming & out-going data for all of Immunet's processes (sfc.exe, iptray.exe & freshclam.exe if using ClamAV). If you're using a H.I.P.S. or some other sort of behavior blocking software, another anti-virus package or other security application(s) make sure none of these are conflicting with Immunet also. Because when I turn off firewall, the immunate can scan, but in another server I also have to turn off MSE.
Guest Wookiee
It's very possible a firewall could be blocking the upgrade, or anything of the sort. You might need to write an 'exception' rule in the MS firewall, or softwares that could block the upgrade.
ritchie58
Here's a link to a Knowledge-Base article that outlines the steps to take to add exceptions to Microsoft Security Essentials. The info is a bit dated but it still should give you a good idea how this is done if you're not sure. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/mse-protect_scanning/how-to-exclude-a-filefolder-from-microsoft/26f2810a-47fd-40d8-b35e-3740f00fce85 Also, here is info on how to create exceptions with 2012 R2 Windows Firewall. Server 2008 / 2012 Click Start and select Control Panel. Click Windows Firewall. Click the Exceptions tab. Click Add Program. Select the program you wish to exclude. Click OK. Create an exception rule for Immunet's entire Program Files folder for MSE and process exception rules with your firewall (sfc.exe, iptray.exe & freshclam.exe if using ClamAV) . Cheers, Ritchie...
