Hi, can anyone help.

I installed  Immunet yesterday & when I re-started my laptop I had no internet - only a message that "Wi Fi doesn't have a valid IP configuration".

I tried many Google suggestions for this problem & nothing worked. Eventually I un-installed Immunet & all is OK again.

Are there any suggestions/fixes for this problem?

Cheers Normintura

That error shouldn't be caused by Immunet. Are you using DHCP? Did you google from the same laptop? Can you screenshot the error message? ( did the error show in immunet, or windows?)

Immunet needs a constant network connection for protection. It sounds like your wifi IP was misconfigured and or needed some kind of release renew. What operating system are you on?

Thanks for your interest/help.

I don't know what DHCP is. Yes Googled from same laptop. Can't screenshot as Immunet not installed at the moment. Error showed when I clicked Wi Fi & it showed connected but no Internet.

I then clicked on "Settings" & error came up. I am on Windows 10. That phone Wi Fi hotspot has been working fine for over 3 years. Cheers Norm

Are you using the internet from your phone to connect to the internet with the laptop?

I assume you couldn't google when immunet was installed but you did afterwards?

Thanks again.

I use my mobile as a portable Wi Fi hotspot for the laptop . Yes I had no internet so googled the problem later.

i wouldn't assume this to cause an issue, but I can look into it.
What version of Windows?

When testing with the latest version of Immunet, I am not having a problem. Maybe something else could be blocking? Or not a solid enough connection
