Scanner Finds Threats But Where, What And What Was Done To Them?

Recommended Posts

As you can see from the pictures, when I do a full scan, it finds 6 threats. Then again, when I try to figure out what and where did it find something and what it actually did to them, I cannot get any information about those 6 threats. All I see is that file wsusscn2.cab was detected and quarantined. So, where are the rest of the 5 files? What files are they anyway? Where? What happened to them? What malware was in them?

Im running Windows XP SP3 latest patches and Microsoft Security Essentials and bought 2-year version of Immunet Protect.

Unfortunately there is no way of doing this right now. Looking at the screenshot, all 6 were in the cab file wsusscn2.cab, but unfortunately we don't display this in the history (although if you change your drop down to "All File Events", you'll see more information). The presentation for scanning archives needs some improvements.

You can send me (millard at immunet.com) the support diagnostics file (support.immunet.com/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=10) and I should be able to tell you which ones were convicted.

Too late, I already deleted them and the MBSA. It was propably false alert anyway.

BTW. C:\Program Files\Immunet Protect\2.0.16\creport.exe shows up as false positive in F-Secure Antivirus, maybe you should call them etc. etc.
