Panda Cloud Fp?

I've noticed that on occasion when Panda Cloud Antivirus connects to the update server I get what I think is several false positives (I hope). Detection Name: MemScan:Generic.4697781 File Paths: C:\WINDOWS\Temp\nup95.tmp C:\WINDOWS\Temp\0000035F C:\WINDOWS\Temp\plug.sig I am currently running the trial pro version of Immunet. Just the nup.tmp file was quarantined while the other two failed to quarantine. I should have read the earlier posts first. I see that Vengeful Giblets has encountered the same detection and I believe he also uses Panda. I believe this is a FP because it only occurs when Panda connects to their server.

Hey Ritchie,

I am sure it's an FP. It looks like Panda Cloud is pulling down definitions and we are seeing them as threats. If you you roll them out of Quarantine it will whitelist them for you.

Best,
