According to our experience, you can fix it like this: Check your start up folder and run folder in the registry.Maybe there is something suspicious, you can clean and chang the settings.Viruses do take up space. They are programs. Lots of different Mal ware replicate over and over. What you need is something that will check your hard drive without downloading any thing. If you're looking for a free anti-virus I suggest searching around for something like Kingsoft Free Antivirus, I personally clearly know what free programs to use because I've always decided to cover my bases and make sure I'm getting the best protection.
