Guest Orlando Posted November 27, 2010 Report Share Posted November 27, 2010 Think Point Open Task Manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and end this process: hotfix.exe After in the task manager (under “Applications”) run “New Task (Run...)” and write explorer.exe If it appears an error: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them" run this command first: cacls "C:\Windows\explorer.exe" /G Everyone:F A new windows will come up asking "Are you sure?" Type Y and press enter. After, run again explorer.exe Risk: 9 Removal instruction: For removal this rogue download ThinkPoint remover 4.0. After unzip it on the desktop (don't move it), now run the exe file (ThinkPoint remover 3.0) (with administrative privileges if you have Windows Vista or 7) and accept all of questions. The file will tell you the complete removal. The system restart is automatic in 60 seconds.
